Introduction to Cambridge Exams in schools: PET, FCE and CAE*
This seminar is intended for teachers who have not yet attended any Cambridge seminars for these exams.
These are the most popular of the Cambridge exams being taken in NRW, from the 8th to 13th class.
An overview of the levels, the typical formats, task-types and assessment criteria, with some examples of classroom activities.
There will be plenty of materials to take away.

Writing Skills and Assessment for Cambridge FCE and CAE*

This seminar is intended for teachers familiar with at least one of these exams.
Even good students often have trouble with the Writing papers as they don’t really realise what is being tested, and concentrate on the wrong aspects. We will be looking at what skills Cambridge is looking for in the Writing papers, and what the assessment criteria mean in practice.
